Painting Plastic Window Sashes

After two top coats have been applied and dried use a razor knife to cut a clean line between the window glass and the wood.

Apply a bead of the glazing to the inside of the frame image 1 on all four sides. Paint the sash and allow the paint to dry. Peel the masking liquid off the glass. Then the upper cross bar 8 and finish with the two side rails 9 and 10 brushing the paint to blend it with the previous painted areas.

All the sashes on the windows were already black and because i liked the palette when we changed the body and trim colors we kept the black window trim.
